Using Orbeon Server

A couple reminders to myself for if we try and directly write XForms applications with Orbeon.

System Administration

Things are spread all over the filesystem

  • configuration: /etc/tomcat-6
  • application dir: /var/lib/tomcat-6
  • I started the vessel form in: /var/lib/tomcat-6/webapps/orbeon/WEB-INF/resources/apps/noaa-vessel
Everything in the application dir is owned by tomcat:tomcat. I could probably add normal users to the tomcat group.
